- This page is about the special candy. For the booster, see Colour Bomb (booster).
- Not to be confused with Candy Bomb or Cake Bomb.
A Colour Bomb is quite unlike other candies because it can be swapped with any candy on board not captured in a blocker. When swapped with a candy, all of that color on the board will be detonated, and following an update they give lots of points when used.
This special candy is generally quite weak on its own considering how hard it is to make, but when mixed with other special candies, or when the board has only 4 colors, it can create some very big and useful effects.
|COLOUR BOMB||SPECIAL CANDY||EFFECT|
|Colour Bomb||Striped Candy||
Turns every candy of that color (including special candies) into a striped candy in a horizontal-vertical pattern from top left along the rows and then activates them all.
Note: This will not activate other special candies. On iOS and Android it does activate them.
|Colour Bomb||Wrapped Candy||Clears every candy of the color of the wrapped candy on the board, then the most abundant color present on the board. In effect, this combination clears two colors, and usually scores massive amounts of points.|
|Colour Bomb||Colour Bomb||
Clears every candy on the board and Licorice Swirl blockers, but has no effect on other blockers.
In iOS and Android, only blockers adjacent to a candy gets destroyed.
|Colour Bomb||Candy Bomb||Same effect as using a color bomb with a normal candy, except it scores you much more points, and even more depending how many bombs of the same color are on the board.|
|Colour Bomb||Jelly Fish||Creates three fish that eat three candies as normal, but transform those candies into three more jelly fish. This has the potential to create twelve fish in total.|
|Colour Bomb||Coconut Wheel||The color bomb activates. After, the coconut wheel will scroll in whatever direction was made and makes a full line of vertical/horizontal striped candies. Every candy scrolled past is turned into a striped candy.|

- Colour Bomb + Striped Candy may be the best combo for clearing things, but for levels that worry about the score only, it is the worst option.
- In Dreamworld levels it is not advisable to use them against one of the colors on the scale as it will tip over and you will fail the level. Combining it with striped candy would be better. It will not do this all the time, but it will most of the time, but it depends on how much.
- It is impossible to make a colour bomb if the level has 4 boxes like level 33, 182, 323 and 467.
- In the beta versions, a color bomb was just giving 1000-2000 points. Now it gives you more than 20000 points. For example, if you mix a color bomb with a red candy, and there are 12 red candies it will just give 720 points. Now it gives you 4000-4500 points for 12 red candies. However, Level 297 was harder because of this.
- Colour bomb won't animate in the iOS or Android version.
- When the colour bomb + striped candy combination is used on the striped candy with the same colour of the candy inside the liquorice lock,the combination will destroy the liquorice lock of the same-colour candy before they are activated.
